I’m on a quest to taste the different chocolates of the world. One of the popular brands that I wanted to try is Godiva ice cream. It’s actually because of Instagram that I have grown a curiosity about it. There are many posts of beautiful and towering ice cream oozing with chocolate!
However, Godiva chocolate is quite rare here in my country. I don’t think there’s a store here. So I waited a long time to try the ice cream. Awww... but those IG posts looked so yummy. (^_^)
But the universe has given me the chance to try it! When I flew to SG to see a Boyzone concert, I made sure that a Godiva store was part of my itinerary. Wheeee~
Finally, wish after wish comes true! Boyfie and I went to the Godiva store in Suntec. It was chocolate heaven! Eye popping selections graced the store... mostly of their popular truffles.
But I was there only for the ice cream! There were choices of all dark, all vanilla, and mixed. Of course, I chose all dark chocolate! Hihihi~ :D
Now, finally, I have a contribution to the worldwide Instagram photos of Godiva ice cream! #godivaicecream
It’s a beautiful swirl of chocolate! You can see that it’s artistically crafted. The chocolate drizzle and that edible Godiva tag gives the perfect finishing touch. Oooh... pretty!
The flavor is full of surprises! It has a silky texture that’s gently sweet to the palate. Delectable ultra creamy dark chocolate! How do I describe it further? Hmmm... Exquisite. Delicious. Royal.
I just couldn’t get enough! The cone is full of ice cream till the very bottom. And when I finished it all, I felt sad that it’s all gone. Awww... But yeah... I’m happy that I finally got to eat such a beauty!
