STGCC 2016 Toys

So far this year, I have not yet attended any convention about toys, gaming, cosplay, or anything else. My circumstances has turned me into a hermit, doing nothing but eat-sleep-work. Can I say I have turned into a zombie now? (T_T) I miss going to events, you know. Where can I buy time for it? Waaaa~

Fortunately, my ever supportive boyfie went to STGCC last weekend in Marina Bay Sands. He shared the photos he took with me. And I felt so alive at seeing nerdy stuff again! Yay~ Finally, a world where I belong! Uhm.. he only took photos of the toys, though. Sorry guys, he is not a blogger like me. :P No booths, cosplayers, guests. Hahaha... But they're all good just the same. So let me share them with you, too.

My favorite ones are the Star Wars toys. Yep~ I literally gasped for joy when I saw the cool figurines of the different aircrafts and the cute chibi toys and ~woah~ Rey on her speeder! Yep, Star Wars fan here!

The X-Wing, The TIE Fighter, and the rest of the aircrafts

The Millennium Falcon stands out

Ooooh~

Aside from Star Wars, I also like X-Men. I used to follow the animated series back in the 90's and I watched the movie franchises, too. Here is one of the STGCC X-Men diorama on display. This depicts the X-Men battling the Sentinel from XM Studios. It is 2x1x1.5 meters wide and features Colossus, Jubilee, Cable, Beast, Psylocke, and of course, the villain Sentinel.

So Star Wars and X-Men... but of course, there's Marvel, too. I only became a Marvel fan after the Captain America movies. *wink*Chris Evans* And I do believe that Marvel studios create great movies. Yippee~

I still can't get over Captain America: Civil War

Iron Man!

Mark 39 Iron Man suit
Pepper Potts in Iron Man costume
Black Panther and Iron Fist from Marvel Universe
The Sinister 6: Lizardman, Mysterio, and Vulture

Kraven at the center

Hmmm... Wait, I wonder why there's no Captain America display... maybe boyfie missed it on purpose... :P

Those were great toys, but my boyfriend's favorites are the Nariko and Witchblade figurines. Yep, the craftsmanship are awesome. Look at all those details!

Here are the other toys that he took photos of...

from Transformers

Jackie Estacado from The Darkness

Crow King from Bounties of Bathos

Seeing all this figurines has rejuvenated me again. I hope I will get more time in the future to attend cons like he has. I wish I can go to STGCC next year, too. It would be nice to see all these toys for real, don’t you think?

After everything, I realize that I need to power up my nerd influence from time to time. It is needed to keep yourself sane in this world. So, when is the next event?

The 2019 Starbucks SG Planner

Happy New Year, dear readers! The year 2019 comes with new wishes, new beginnings, and of course, new planners! Yay! I'm excited for all of it. The new year for me means a fresh start for all the failures I've had for the previous year. Yep, I feel ya! 2018 was kinda rough for me, too. But anyways, I'm here to share with you a tool to help us face the days ahead.  I'm sure that some of us take life as it goes along. But there are others, like me, who have a planning personality. And lemme tell ya, it's really frustrating how things don't go according to plan. Most of the time, life doesn't make it go as planned. Ugh... But fret not! Even if life foils everything, that doesn't stop us from using planners! Wheee~ They're cute and inspirational. They give us a sense of "getting our life together" , too. Hahaha~ So for this post, I'm gonna share with you the Starbucks Singapore  2019 planner!  The 2019 Starbucks Singapore Planner

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour: SM Mall of Asia Leg

I still can't believe that it was just two nights ago (November 18, 2012), I saw Lee Min Ho in the flesh! As early as 5:30PM, I was already in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, joining the fans as we eagerly wait for his arrival. The crowd was very overwhelming. I bet some people waited there two hours earlier than I did!  Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor. His popular dramas include Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Faith among others. His prowess as an actor and his to-die-for looks are enough to make women go gaga over him -me included!  He is my favorite actor. I love his dramas. In the future, as I gain more skills, I plan to cosplay his characters, especially Johnny from City Hunter. He is the reason why I love Korean products like Etude House . Now, I have another brand to love... and it's a Filipino brand! I'm very happy that Lee Min Ho is the latest endorser of the clothing line, Bench .  Crowds make me uncomfortable. It was my first time to have ever attended

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!
