Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016!

Hi guys! I'm in for a year ender post... one week later! Hahaha! I know I'm always late. But someone has to do it. This blog has been running for years now and I always make it a point to write a post to recall the blessings of the past year.

The most challenging problem for 2015 was time. I found it hard to balance the time spent on hobbies and work. It started in 2013, when I got a job with work Saturdays. I ran out of steam to write in my blogs, as you have noticed.  Writing a post is not easy. You have to take photos, You have to write paragraphs and edit it. One blog update takes a lot of time. Promise! But I found another medium to share. Presenting my photo blog...  @myangelmariel on Instagram!

My Instagram page! https://instagram.com/myangelmariel/
Thanks to Instagram, I didn't lose the writing spirit completely. I like it because all I need is a photo and a single paragraph. Then, boom! Post finished in a snap! For someone like me who struggles with time, it is a blessing.

So for this year ender post, I will share with you my chosen best nine photos out of like... 100 of  2015? Wow! If only I wrote in my blog that massive number. Oh well...

From bottom right:

1.) I immersed myself in Traditional Catholic Faith. It's the best thing that happened to me. I did put in my 2015 goals to deepen my faith in God.

2.) For the first time, I attended a Fun Run! Wheeee~ I couldn't believe myself! I think I wrote about it here...Running With Heroes

3.) My wish came true: to take a pic with Alodia and Ashley! It happened on Toy Con 2015. I was so ecstatic about it, here is the link... Alodia, Ashley, and Angel Mariel

From center, starting with right:

4.) My first visit  to The Mind Museum! I've always wanted to go there and take a review of Science! Now, I have been there twice, and always with my family.*heart*heart*

5.) Kaname, my cosplay idol! Finally, after four years, I met you in person! Yay! Blog post here, guys: Angel Mariel Meets Kaname (Finally!)

Kaname!
6.) 2015 made me return to my artsy side through coloring books! That dream catcher was my first project. It's the best stress reliever, uhm, second to eating that is. Hehehe~ Blog post: Life of Colors

From the top right:

7.) The best thing about my job is having to attend talks for self and career improvement. This year, I discovered my strengths through The Strengths Finder seminar. It's good to know something about yourself, no?

8.) *Clap*clap*clap* Last BDJ Fair, I found a photo of myself on a tarpaulin! Yay! I'm so happy until now. I love BDJ and I will always feel thankful for everything they taught me. Oh~ That reminds me, I need to write about the BDJ Fair...

9.) Weddings are always a happy event. I attended my cousin's grand wedding. Most of my extended family from the provinces went here in the city for it. It was nice to see them all again, especially when it's Christmas season. I took lots of photos and I shared my time with them.

It doesn't stop there! It's best nine plus one more...

Fullmetal Alchemist was my 2015. It gave me the answer to the questions of unfairness and suffering that I experienced in my life. "Move forward", as what Edward Elric said.

I'm very thankful to God that I survived 2015. Hahaha~ Oh well, He helped me through people, things, or... anime! Yay! My fullmetal heart is still in the works. But overall, 2015 was a good year!

It's time to move on to 2016! I am excited of what it has to offer. My power word for this year: Patience. Let's see if we can write a separate post about it. Until now, I admit that time is still the number one obstacle for me to conquer. I hope that 2016 will be able to give me the solution. Oh, What would I do without Instagram?

The 2019 Starbucks SG Planner

Happy New Year, dear readers! The year 2019 comes with new wishes, new beginnings, and of course, new planners! Yay! I'm excited for all of it. The new year for me means a fresh start for all the failures I've had for the previous year. Yep, I feel ya! 2018 was kinda rough for me, too. But anyways, I'm here to share with you a tool to help us face the days ahead.  I'm sure that some of us take life as it goes along. But there are others, like me, who have a planning personality. And lemme tell ya, it's really frustrating how things don't go according to plan. Most of the time, life doesn't make it go as planned. Ugh... But fret not! Even if life foils everything, that doesn't stop us from using planners! Wheee~ They're cute and inspirational. They give us a sense of "getting our life together" , too. Hahaha~ So for this post, I'm gonna share with you the Starbucks Singapore  2019 planner!  The 2019 Starbucks Singapore Planner

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour: SM Mall of Asia Leg

I still can't believe that it was just two nights ago (November 18, 2012), I saw Lee Min Ho in the flesh! As early as 5:30PM, I was already in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, joining the fans as we eagerly wait for his arrival. The crowd was very overwhelming. I bet some people waited there two hours earlier than I did!  Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor. His popular dramas include Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Faith among others. His prowess as an actor and his to-die-for looks are enough to make women go gaga over him -me included!  He is my favorite actor. I love his dramas. In the future, as I gain more skills, I plan to cosplay his characters, especially Johnny from City Hunter. He is the reason why I love Korean products like Etude House . Now, I have another brand to love... and it's a Filipino brand! I'm very happy that Lee Min Ho is the latest endorser of the clothing line, Bench .  Crowds make me uncomfortable. It was my first time to have ever attended
