Angel Mariel's 2016 BDJ Power Planner

Best Blogger Tips
What's your 2016 planner, guys? Do you use just one planner for your life? Well, for me, I have two planners this year. I used to have only one, but I was advised to separate my work organizer from my personal one.

For now, I will feature my social life planner. I have always raved about Belle de Jour Power Planners since 2011! Yep, it's officially my sixth year with BDJ! Here is my very own:

The 2016 Belle de Jour Power Planner
As you can see, I had mine personalized with my name (plus a Heart! ^_^). I immediately fell in love with the cover art when I first saw it online. How the colors go together, the curves, and the surreal sparkling effect... It's just amazing! Without any second thoughts, I ordered it right away!

The 'sparkling' effect
The first few pages is about personal information and a very encouraging quote to get us going for 2016.
Personal info page

The 2016 BDJ quote. I love that Bella at the right side. She's glamorous.
Inside is a Dreamboard page. I always fill it up every year. Sometimes, the dreams come true for the year. Often times, it takes another year or more. But the important thing is, dreams do come true, all in good time.

The pages are all creatively put together and the layouts are nice. The colors are there to liven up your days. Plus, I love the BDJ girl artwork on the monthly dividers! The spread is on a daily and weekly schedule. Personally, I would want this for my work. However, it's just too colorful and my job is something too formal for it. Hehehe~ I will share some pages of the planner. The rest is up for you to explore on your own.

Write 'em your goals!

Happiness! I need this!

Just in case you feel adventurous, here's the 2016 checklist!

This is a new page: all about positive thinking

The month of November's page divider. It's gorgeous!

The week's spread. You can fill up the daily tasks and see the week's schedule all in one go

Now this! Another favorite page of mine! Hmmm... where to?

Maybe this year I'll make use of the bills and cash flow trackers
Another highlight of the planner is the various inspiring quotes on the pages. It gets you going during those times when life breaks you.

This is for the month of January

"I have it me to survive" Perfect. Every week there is a different one at the right top page

On the bottom pages are all these bright quotes for you.

The free magnetic bookmark also has the theme of the 2016 BDJ Planner

Aside from the pages of planning and organizing, BDJ also has coupons and stickers! The coupons are in a separate booklet so it's easier for you to carry in your bag.

The coupons booklet

The BDJ Lifestyle card for 2016. More discounts for Bellas!

My favorite coupon is the one from Jamba Juice.
This year's BDJ stickers
Since I am a BDJ fan, I also bought their new products to decorate my 2016 planner. I got the washi tapes and the magnetic bookmarks last 2015 BDJ Fair! Yay!

The washi tapes and the bookmarks!

This is the 10th year of Belle de Jour Power Planner. Already now, I can say that it is a part of my life. For six years it has always encouraged me to move on in this life and it inspires me to live life to the fullest. I always smile whenever I see the pages. I find myself eager to write on it and to decorate it... or doodle on it. Hehehe! That's the thing about this wonderful planner! BDJ makes me a better me, day by day, week by week, and year by year.

The 10th Year Belle de Jour Power Planner is beautiful inside and out.

Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016!

Best Blogger Tips
Hi guys! I'm in for a year ender post... one week later! Hahaha! I know I'm always late. But someone has to do it. This blog has been running for years now and I always make it a point to write a post to recall the blessings of the past year.

The most challenging problem for 2015 was time. I found it hard to balance the time spent on hobbies and work. It started in 2013, when I got a job with work Saturdays. I ran out of steam to write in my blogs, as you have noticed.  Writing a post is not easy. You have to take photos, You have to write paragraphs and edit it. One blog update takes a lot of time. Promise! But I found another medium to share. Presenting my photo blog...  @myangelmariel on Instagram!

My Instagram page! https://instagram.com/myangelmariel/
Thanks to Instagram, I didn't lose the writing spirit completely. I like it because all I need is a photo and a single paragraph. Then, boom! Post finished in a snap! For someone like me who struggles with time, it is a blessing.

So for this year ender post, I will share with you my chosen best nine photos out of like... 100 of  2015? Wow! If only I wrote in my blog that massive number. Oh well...

From bottom right:

1.) I immersed myself in Traditional Catholic Faith. It's the best thing that happened to me. I did put in my 2015 goals to deepen my faith in God.

2.) For the first time, I attended a Fun Run! Wheeee~ I couldn't believe myself! I think I wrote about it here...Running With Heroes

3.) My wish came true: to take a pic with Alodia and Ashley! It happened on Toy Con 2015. I was so ecstatic about it, here is the link... Alodia, Ashley, and Angel Mariel

From center, starting with right:

4.) My first visit  to The Mind Museum! I've always wanted to go there and take a review of Science! Now, I have been there twice, and always with my family.*heart*heart*

5.) Kaname, my cosplay idol! Finally, after four years, I met you in person! Yay! Blog post here, guys: Angel Mariel Meets Kaname (Finally!)

Kaname!
6.) 2015 made me return to my artsy side through coloring books! That dream catcher was my first project. It's the best stress reliever, uhm, second to eating that is. Hehehe~ Blog post: Life of Colors

From the top right:

7.) The best thing about my job is having to attend talks for self and career improvement. This year, I discovered my strengths through The Strengths Finder seminar. It's good to know something about yourself, no?

8.) *Clap*clap*clap* Last BDJ Fair, I found a photo of myself on a tarpaulin! Yay! I'm so happy until now. I love BDJ and I will always feel thankful for everything they taught me. Oh~ That reminds me, I need to write about the BDJ Fair...

9.) Weddings are always a happy event. I attended my cousin's grand wedding. Most of my extended family from the provinces went here in the city for it. It was nice to see them all again, especially when it's Christmas season. I took lots of photos and I shared my time with them.

It doesn't stop there! It's best nine plus one more...

Fullmetal Alchemist was my 2015. It gave me the answer to the questions of unfairness and suffering that I experienced in my life. "Move forward", as what Edward Elric said.

I'm very thankful to God that I survived 2015. Hahaha~ Oh well, He helped me through people, things, or... anime! Yay! My fullmetal heart is still in the works. But overall, 2015 was a good year!

It's time to move on to 2016! I am excited of what it has to offer. My power word for this year: Patience. Let's see if we can write a separate post about it. Until now, I admit that time is still the number one obstacle for me to conquer. I hope that 2016 will be able to give me the solution. Oh, What would I do without Instagram?
