Spreading Cheers

Last Saturday, when the traffic was so bad, I was in Alabang going home from work. Seeing cars lined up bumper to bumper made me feel really unwilling to go home. But then I remembered that December 5 was the Cheer Party schedule for Starbucks ATC. Since I won’t be able to go anywhere with the heavy traffic for two hours, I decided to drop by and join.

I have been aware of the Cheer Parties for years, but I haven't attended any. It was all a matter of conflicts in schedule. But now, the opportunity came. I got there at exactly 5PM, around the time the party started, too. Such excellent timing! (^_^)

Ah~ For the first time, I wasn't bored in the queue. From the outside, I could hear a nice soulful music being played inside the store. Another thing: food samples were given. Yay! Here we have a featured beverage: The Christmas Panettone Latte Frappuccino.

The sample size of the Christmas Panettone Latte Frappuccino. Yum!

The baristas on site were very friendly and were all smiles. Oooh~ This "Cheer" Party really lives up to its name! One even talked to me while I was waiting for my turn. She asked if it was my first time to attend. She told me to expect happy things like buy one get one on drinks. I felt very welcomed. True, joy is contagious. *Heart*Heart*

I found out that some merchandise were discounted only during the Cheer Party...

Finally, I got to the counter. Since the buy one get one offer was available, I ordered Peppermint Mocha Frap and Toffee Nut Frap. And yes! I was alone so I gulped them all myself. Hehehe~

My Peppermint Mocha and Toffee Nut Fraps.
More happiness! I was given a raffle stub for a chance to win 2016 Planners. Lemme tell you! The prizes were gorgeous! There were drawstring bags, Starbucks card, jackets, and hoodies. I wanted the hoodie... but unfortunately, my lucky stub wasn't lucky enough.
My stub for the raffle and photo booth.
Drinking coffee is great with music, right? I did tell you about an awesome music earlier. Here is a 30 second video of the live band singing "Santa Baby". They make you feel all Christmas-y...

The smiling baristas were very enthusiastic as they prepared drinks. To think it was such a busy night because the queue seemed endless. I was very happy when they agreed to pose for a picture.

Drinks! Drinks! Yummy Frappuccinos everywhere!

All smiles. (^_^)
More food samples were given out. It kept on coming one after the other. More Christmas Panettone Latte Fraps, Toffee Nut Fraps, cookies, and brownies.

Before I forget, what's the best token? A photo souvenir! The one at the party was a unique card magnet.

After two hours, it was time to go. As I thought, the traffic wasn't that bad anymore. I went home full of happiness. Like the baristas, I want to spread the cheer, too! \(^_^)/. Merry Christmas, everyone!

The 2019 Starbucks SG Planner

Happy New Year, dear readers! The year 2019 comes with new wishes, new beginnings, and of course, new planners! Yay! I'm excited for all of it. The new year for me means a fresh start for all the failures I've had for the previous year. Yep, I feel ya! 2018 was kinda rough for me, too. But anyways, I'm here to share with you a tool to help us face the days ahead.  I'm sure that some of us take life as it goes along. But there are others, like me, who have a planning personality. And lemme tell ya, it's really frustrating how things don't go according to plan. Most of the time, life doesn't make it go as planned. Ugh... But fret not! Even if life foils everything, that doesn't stop us from using planners! Wheee~ They're cute and inspirational. They give us a sense of "getting our life together" , too. Hahaha~ So for this post, I'm gonna share with you the Starbucks Singapore  2019 planner!  The 2019 Starbucks Singapore Planner

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour: SM Mall of Asia Leg

I still can't believe that it was just two nights ago (November 18, 2012), I saw Lee Min Ho in the flesh! As early as 5:30PM, I was already in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, joining the fans as we eagerly wait for his arrival. The crowd was very overwhelming. I bet some people waited there two hours earlier than I did!  Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor. His popular dramas include Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Faith among others. His prowess as an actor and his to-die-for looks are enough to make women go gaga over him -me included!  He is my favorite actor. I love his dramas. In the future, as I gain more skills, I plan to cosplay his characters, especially Johnny from City Hunter. He is the reason why I love Korean products like Etude House . Now, I have another brand to love... and it's a Filipino brand! I'm very happy that Lee Min Ho is the latest endorser of the clothing line, Bench .  Crowds make me uncomfortable. It was my first time to have ever attended

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!
