Lovely Samples from THEFACESHOP

The only instance when the word 'samples' bring me happiness is when they come in the form of little sachets or bottles with colorful graphics. The contents inside should be soap, facial wash, toner, cream, moisturizer, or what-not.

See, in my line of craft, 'sample' means 'deadlines', and of course along with it comes stress. Hehehe... It feels so conflicting whenever I encounter the word 'sample'. To me, it either means stress or happiness.

This time, it means happiness.

There is no getting over THEFACESHOP at Wisma Atria! I went for a visit there with boyfie, and to my surprise, they were celebrating their 8th anniversary and they had activities to boot! They gave us a drink which was suppose to rejuvenate your skin, something which was made from aloe vera and wheat grass (not sure though, I forgot). It was sweet and refreshing at the same time. But the best part is, they gave away a sample set! Yay!

The boutique looked great with posters of Kim Soo Hyun hanging on almost every wall. The products were lined up in perfect order as well. Some had cute packaging, while others had the formal look.

Oops, since we were in a hurry, I wasn't able to take photos of the lovely place and the friendly ladies who greeted us. I do have pictures of the samples though!

My lovely samples from THEFACESHOP!

I'm most excited to try the Aura CC Cream! This is my first ever sample of CC cream. I'm very curious of this innovation and how it compares with BB Cream.

Next is the cutest sachet from the bunch: The Chia Seed Moisture-Holding Cream. This claims to have Chia seeds extract which does the job of moisturization.

Sleeping packs are a regular in my regimen. But a sleeping mask? Are they even the same? Let's find out, shall we? THEFACESHOP gave away this sachet of Baby Face Sleeping Mask Aqua Drop Pack.

Sun block should never be skipped in your skin care routine. I'm so glad that this SPF 45 sun cream is included in the sample kit!

Lastly, we have the cleansing foam. This is part of the whitening variant which has rice water as one of the ingredients.

Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam

Going through the whole post, I have deduced that I was actually given a complete skin care regimen: wash face with Rice Water Cleansing Foam, pat dry, then apply Chia Seed Moisturizer; nest is the sun cream, and lastly, the CC cream. Now that is awesome! Wheee~ Unfortunately, I haven't seen these products in the local THEFACESHOP stores here in Manila. I will definitely go and check their availability once I have taken a liking to any of them. If not, I'll have boyfie get them for me. :P

Happiness!

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
