BDJ Box Beauty Social: Camp Gorgeous on September 14, 2014!

Yay! Another one of my favorite events on skin care and makeup is coming! I'm so excited! Cosmetics is just one of my favorite topics to write, talk, and explore. Let's head to SM North EDSA Skydome on September 14 for the latest BDJ Box Beauty Social event.  What is BDJ Box?  BDJ Box is a beauty product discovery subscription service for women. Brought to you by the makers of the Belle de Jour Power Planner, BDJ Box aims to help every Filipina unbox her own beauty. For Php580 a month, subscribers receive a mass-customized beauty box with at least 5-6 of the best beauty products delivered to their doorstep. (source: BDJ Box FB ) Camp Gorgeous is the theme and for sure, we will all be treated to a variety of booths from BDJ Box's premium skin care, makeup, and hair care brands. How do I know? Because I have attended previous BDJ Box Beauty Social events in the past. Hmmm... I don't think I have ever missed one. (^_^)  So if you are an avid fan of cosmetics o

The Rurouni Kenshin Fun Booth at Glorietta

I first saw the Rurouni Kenshin Costume Exhibit booth at Toy Con 2014. I was very excited and couldn't wait to write about it when I got home. But alas! Due to time constraints, the planned draft didn't even get a head start. But the Rurouni Kenshin hype is still on and when I visited the Glorietta Cinema lobby to check out movie schedules, I found the booth there. I said to myself, "Yes! I have been given another chance to write about it!" The Rurouni Kenshin booth at Glorietta Costumes on display I felt the same excitement and the same OMG feels as when I saw the costumes for the first time. I couldn't believe that the actors fit into those costumes. It seemed too small for real. Hehehe ~  The Kenshin Himura costume The Sanosuke Sagara costume A short description of Kenshin Himura There was also photo walls which showed stills from the movie.  What made this visit even more special for me is the participation of Shinkendo Phili

Oh So Cute Transformers Face Masks!

I got Cybertron's toughest masks at innisfree Takashimaya! Wheee ~ innisfree's hero transformers masks But hold your horses! Those face masks are for men! Awww... but it's okay. I never planned to use these cute thingies in the first place. I'm just so in love with the Transformers concept. It's quite rare, yeah? A robot printed on a face mask packaging.  I bought these during the time when Transformers 4 was upcoming or was showing in theaters. Yeah I know, I'm quite late with this post due to lack of time. (T_T) But nothing will stop me from writing about my new stuff (^_^)  You gotta admit, these face masks are so adorable! The Hero Transformers Mask come in two variants. The Bumblebee mask contains lemon extract for skin brightening.  Bumblee mask (SGD 5.00) The Optimus Prime mask, on the other hand, has Acai Berry extract for skin tightening.  Optimus Prime mask (SGD 5.00) Yay! Happiness further... the lovely cashier gave me two sam

Len and Rin

My main motivation of attending this year's Otaku Expo Reload was the invitation from my friend, Reeve, to a photoshoot with me as a photographer. Uhm.. Honestly, I was reluctant at first, considering that I only have an ordinary digital camera, not a DSLR. Hehehe ~ But Reeve had faith that I could do it so I agreed to take on the job. (^_^) So last August 10, Reeve and Rosette cosplayed the vocaloid characters Len and Rin Kagamine. They donned the yellow costume and the sweet charm of that is distinct to all vocaloids.  From left: Rosette as Rin, and Reeve as Len Well, I only took the photos but the idea for poses are attributed to Reeve and Rosette. We explored the various corners of the venue to take beautiful and breathtaking photos.  Here is Reeve as Len Kagamine... ...and Rosette as Rin Kagamine... Alright! Brace yourselves for the super sweet aura of the couple shots... And here are my favorite shots:

The Cosplayers - Otaku Expo Reload Day 2

It's been a while since I attended a convention. The last one was ToyCon 2014 and I missed writing about it. Hehehe ~ Sorry guys, I will try to write about it one of these days. For now, I will share with you photos of cosplayers from Otaku Expo Reload 2014 which happened at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall on August 9-10. I was there to cover only the second day.  My ticket for the Otaku Expo Reload 2014 I bought a ticket worth PhP100 and strolled inside for a short while. There were the usual maid cafe, a small event stage, food stalls, and on-site cosplay and anime merchandise for sale. But despite all the happenings, I decided to drain my camera's battery on photos of cosplayers who were there, people who dedicated so much on this beautiful craft.  Yep, so here are some of my shots. I hoped that I could have taken all photos of the cosplayers, but  alas!  my camera's battery is limited... Cosplayer Deathbringer Aren  and Cosplayer Willord Ordona Cosplayer Kae
