A Taste of Japan's Sweets at Mochi Cream

I love eating Mochi! I love it so much that I would put mochi balls as the toppings on my yogurt. I like the different variants such as Mochi Poochi's ice cream mochi and it was really delicious.

So when I saw a friend in Facebook posting about Mochi Cream’s desserts and how he doesn't mind spending for it, I became quite curious about it. Mochi Cream claims to serve the authentic mochi from Japan. That made me even more excited to try it out that I went to Glorietta last weekend.

When I got there, I expected all the usual sweet stuff: chocolates, strawberries, blueberries, vanilla…. but I got surprised with what I saw. On their posters are the flavors green tea, black sesame, matcha, red bean, sakura…. I mean, are these desserts? But according to boyfie, those are the real flavors from Japan.

There are also chocolate and vanilla in the menu, but only a little. I’m used to western desserts and pastries that are more on the sweeter side. Japanese desserts are different, I guess. Theirs is still more on the ‘herbal’ and ‘plant’ side of things. Hehehe~

So anyway, for my purchase, I chose the flavor I’m most curious with: Sakura. It was the most attractive in the bunch, being in cute pink! (^_^) But yeah, my sweet tooth side just won’t let me go and I ordered Chocolate Banana too,

The staff were nice and they served my mochi gourmet style, complete with presentation. The mochi were cut in half and so I saw the creative layers inside. Cool!

Both mochi were frozen at first but they’re chewable already. Biting into the chewy skin, I tasted something akin to red bean paste with a flower flavor. The cream at the center tasted like vanilla.  It might be just me, but the sakura flavor mochi has a floral taste. Ah well, just go and taste if for yourself because I can’t describe it. It was unique and distinctive.

For the Chocolate Banana, the bean paste was all about banana with chocolate chips. The cream in the center is chocolate. It is gently sweet. The flavor of glutinous rice is still dominant. Of course, I choose this to be better than Sakura, hey, I am a sweet tooth. Hehehe~

These babies are really delicious and yes, they taste like Japan! Now, I’m addicted with Mochi Cream too! Woah~ The staff will really be familiar with my face this time. And just like my friend, I will not think twice of spending for these lovely mochi!

The 2019 Starbucks SG Planner

Happy New Year, dear readers! The year 2019 comes with new wishes, new beginnings, and of course, new planners! Yay! I'm excited for all of it. The new year for me means a fresh start for all the failures I've had for the previous year. Yep, I feel ya! 2018 was kinda rough for me, too. But anyways, I'm here to share with you a tool to help us face the days ahead.  I'm sure that some of us take life as it goes along. But there are others, like me, who have a planning personality. And lemme tell ya, it's really frustrating how things don't go according to plan. Most of the time, life doesn't make it go as planned. Ugh... But fret not! Even if life foils everything, that doesn't stop us from using planners! Wheee~ They're cute and inspirational. They give us a sense of "getting our life together" , too. Hahaha~ So for this post, I'm gonna share with you the Starbucks Singapore  2019 planner!  The 2019 Starbucks Singapore Planner

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour: SM Mall of Asia Leg

I still can't believe that it was just two nights ago (November 18, 2012), I saw Lee Min Ho in the flesh! As early as 5:30PM, I was already in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, joining the fans as we eagerly wait for his arrival. The crowd was very overwhelming. I bet some people waited there two hours earlier than I did!  Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor. His popular dramas include Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Faith among others. His prowess as an actor and his to-die-for looks are enough to make women go gaga over him -me included!  He is my favorite actor. I love his dramas. In the future, as I gain more skills, I plan to cosplay his characters, especially Johnny from City Hunter. He is the reason why I love Korean products like Etude House . Now, I have another brand to love... and it's a Filipino brand! I'm very happy that Lee Min Ho is the latest endorser of the clothing line, Bench .  Crowds make me uncomfortable. It was my first time to have ever attended

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!
