[Review] Queen Bee Lipstick from Colour Collection

After some months of no makeup reviews, here I am making one at last! And the inspiration that got me writing? This unique Queen Bee lipstick given out by Sample Room ! This is one of the Ultimate Wear Lipstick line from Colour Collection. I tried this sample for five days straight to get a feel of the product.  The lipstick box The red of Queen Bee Queen Bee, a bright red shade that spells power. The description above is the official statement of the product. It also claims that it lasts for up to 8 hours, unless you eat something oily. It also boasts to be non-drying.  The description part at the back of the box And true enough, the color itself screams ' power '. It is red with an orange hue. Reds such as this shade is perfect for parties!   It only took me one swipe for a rich and vibrant color. As for longevity, it stays true to its claim. The color would stay even after 8 hours or more, depending on the food that you eat. On the first day, it lasted

Rain and HyunA

After four months, the Rain Effect still leaves a mark in me. It is a great album and if I have all the time in the world, I would feature each track in a full write up. For this sixth volume, Rain had a song which featured the K-Pop artist HyunA. It is entitled "Where are you going, Oppa?" and it has a nice Arabian-like beat infused with bass and hip hop, it hints of sexiness too.  For today, I will write about this song that was successful in bringing out a reaction in me. Let’s listen… Fan video by Miyu MaGirlYura So now you understand why it brought a reaction in me? Hehehe ~ It means that the artist is successful in bringing out the emotion through a song. One thing is for sure, Rain chose the perfect girl to sing with him. Both are top caliber artists in their own field. And because of him, I now like HyunA and I researched about her. Kum Hyuna (HyunA) I already know the entertainer named HyunA. I can't remember how, though. I just know her as the n

A Taste of Japan's Sweets at Mochi Cream

I love eating Mochi! I love it so much that I would put mochi balls as the toppings on my yogurt. I like the different variants such as Mochi Poochi's ice cream mochi and it was really delicious. So when I saw a friend in Facebook posting about Mochi Cream ’s desserts and how he doesn't mind spending for it, I became quite curious about it. Mochi Cream claims to serve the authentic mochi from Japan. That made me even more excited to try it out that I went to Glorietta last weekend.  When I got there, I expected all the usual sweet stuff: chocolates, strawberries, blueberries, vanilla…. but I got surprised with what I saw. On their posters are the flavors green tea, black sesame, matcha, red bean, sakura…. I mean, are these desserts? But according to boyfie, those are the real flavors from Japan. There are also chocolate and vanilla in the menu, but only a little. I’m used to western desserts and pastries that are more on the sweeter side. Japanese desserts are different,

Lipstick for My 11th Sample Room Haul

"Bagay sa 'yo ang shade ng Queen Bee (The shade of Queen Bee would look great on you)," said my friend Joey of Dragon Chatter . We were seated beside each other during the talk segment of the BDJ Box Tres Chic event . Both of us love cosmetics and samples! I heard from her that Sample Room was giving away lipsticks from Colour Collection in full size!  A recommendation from a friend is the best marketing a product can have. So when I got home, I logged in Sample Room and got the Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick in Queen Bee shade!  Finally, after 10 hauls in Sample Room, I got myself a cosmetic product. This is my second product from Colour Collection. My first was the BB Cream which I also got from Sample Room. I am beginning to like this brand as their products are at par with known brands in the market today.  So here it is! My Queen Bee lipstick...  and it came with a bonus sample from Celeteque! My 11th Sample Room haul: lipstick and cleansing oil

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour in Glorietta

I never expected our paths to cross again. Hehehe ~ Actually, I attended the BDJ Box Tres Chic event in SM Aura on the day of March 23, 2014. But I passed by Glorietta on my way home. It was already 5:30 PM and I heard screams from the event center. Then I was like, "Oh yeah, today is March 23! Lee Min Ho would be here in Glorietta today". I know from poster announcements that he will be having mall tours. I remembered my experience during the Lee Min Ho Mall Tour in SM Mall of Asia in 2012 . The place was packed and I was among some of the first who arrived early to see him. It was my first time seeing a Korean actor in person. It was truly unforgettable! So back to the topic, the screams were loud but the event hasn't started yet. I had another purpose of passing by the mall, so I had to go the the appointment first. After that, I went back to the lobby, and passed by the activity center once more. Then I heard event host Sam Oh's voice and I saw a t
