My Scenes from the 7th PCC

Were you present on March 9, 2014, at Robinson's Manila for the second day of the 7th Philippine Cosplay Convention? Were you part of the crowd as a cosplayer, anime enthusiast, or photographer?

The early crowd of the 7th PCC
Or did you attend  the event as a blogger, like me? And yes, I was in my cosplay outfit, too! And just like last year's PCC, I went as Rei Ayanami again. This year is special because for the first time, Xtian Mack of arkadymac.com and I bring you a double coverage of the event. Xtian was in cosplay, too! He went as an ANBU shinobi.

Me and Xtian
First things first, I was present for the opening number of the event. The second day was launched with a dance performance from AKB48 cover group, Sugar48.

After the opening performance, the crowd slowly swelled with cosplayers. Seeing other people cosplay makes me happy. I went with my friends and we took selfies… hehehe~

Other than selfies, I took photos of cosplayers, as usual. This time around, it is more special because Xtian Mack and I took photos together.

I took photos of the photographer in action. Look at the stance, man! His dedication to cosplay and photography is something to be admired. Proof? His 5-pound (~2.5 kg) camera. On the scene below, he is working on the feature Shaider and Annie Cosplay by Bri and Kasumi

And the great man took photos of me too. Hehehe~ Yay to cosplayers who take pics!

Aaaaand…. here are my shots:

My favorite cosplayer of the day is… Mina Kim as Gothic Annie. While this look is actually an alternate skin for the champion Annie in League of Legends, I do feel that it fits the character very well. It gives the champion a distinct disturbed look, very much like Alice from American McGee's video game Alice. Mina did portray Annie impeccably as well. You can see from her aura, the cute, disturbed, and sometimes frightening Annie. Her costume is well-crafted, too.

It was Xtian introduced me to Mina and encourage me to take photos of her. Of course, there is the #selfie Hehehe~

I pretty much enjoyed this year’s PCC. It has beaten the 2011 PCC as one of my most epic cosplay events in my life. Special thanks to Xtian for this inviting me to a double coverage.

More photos in Xtian’s blog! Check it out here for his coverage of the event: http://arkadymac.com/2014/03/09/7th-philippine-cosplay-convention-2014-day-2/

A Full Moon: My Second Fanfiction is Here!

Heya Dearies!  Following my first fanfiction The Path of The Unspecialized (The King's Avatar Fanfic) , which was posted in Webnovel, m y next story is now ready to be published! I'm very excited to share this with you. One of the video games that I have played for a very long time is The Sims. Started around 19 years ago, thereabouts. Until now, I don't get tired of creating Sims and building houses. Though yes, there have been times where I was disappointed at how buggy the game is... but yeah, it hasn't stopped me from playing the game. Hahaha~ The Sims is a life simulation and oftentimes, I create stories for my sims. What would they look like? How would they start out? Where would they live? With The Sims 4: Vampires game pack came Caleb Vatore, who became my favorite pre-made sim. I would pair him up with a sim of my own.  And in the process of playing, I eventually got inspired to write down how their story would go in my version of The Sims 4 world. So p r

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!

[Food Review] Everyday Tous Les Jours

My addiction with Tous les Jours started when my cousin brought home a whole load of breads from the said bakery. She recommended that their products are of high quality, while handing me their bestseller aptly called as "Sweet Black Rice Bread with Cream Cheese". Upon taking my first bite, I couldn't stop eating it up until the last piece. With that inspiration, I decided to go visit one of their stores for a closer look.  I went to their branch in SM North. The store is located in The Block near SM Hypermarket. Saturated with yellow lights and wooden furniture, Tous Les Jours had the french bakery/coffee shop aura. Tous Les Jours signage in SM North The front view of the store.  Yummy breads on display!  Breads on display for sale. Oh! There is my favorite! Following my cousin's recommendation, I bought the one with cream cheese filling. However, I had a dilemma which one to choose as it has two variants. The one with black sesame? or plain
