Shopping, Life, and Etude House

"Shopping is my cardio!", so goes the famous quote. I am in absolute agreement with it! Other than being a good exercise, it helps me maintain my sanity, too. Last month has been really quite stressful for me in all aspects, all because time is not enough. I realize that as you grow older, time becomes a privilege. Hmmm... lemme make another philosophical post regarding time some other time. Hehehe~

For now, let's talk about how I fought stress by... shopping in Etude House! (^_^) But you have always keep in mind to be disciplined and to spend below your means. It is okay to buy stuff to make you feel better, but spending more than what you can brings in more financial problems... and with it comes more stress. And that's what we're trying to avoid, right?

So back to the topic. I went to the nearest Etude House branch in my place to buy some cleansing tissues. I use this everyday to remove the dust and pollution on my face when I get to the office. I bought two big packs enough for 3 months of use.

Happy Tea Time Cleansing Tissue (PhP 198.00)
Actually, my purpose of going to EH was just to buy some cleansing tissues. But when you get there, you will be mesmerized by all the cute cosmetics... the pinks, the beautiful posters of Korean endorsers, and the very accommodating EH sales reps that call you "Princess". It was not my first time in EH, so I already knew what to expect. I did my best to stay disciplined and focused on spending on a budget of PhP500.00.

The next thing I got was a box of cotton puff. The label says 'puff' but it is actually a cotton pad . I just got curious about the difference between a cotton pad and your ordinary absorbent cotton. Hehehe

A box of Cotton Puff (PhP48.00)
In order to make it to the PhP500 mark, I bought a face mask. It is always a face mask! They are my beauty obsession. For this, I chose to get the I Need You mask sheet in Lemon. It has a big letter L on it. The I Need You mask series has all the letters of the alphabet. Uh oh! Sounds like a plan, right? Hahaha

For this haul, I got the EH Pink Hair Tie as the GWP. It is so cute that I don't want to open it! The packaging is super cool, as well!

EH always has the cutest GWP's. Up to now, I didn't open my hair tie. I get happy just by looking at it. (^_^)

So there is my Etude House shopping haul for the day. I got the thing that I use regularly (cleansing tissues), something out of curiosity (cotton pad), and another because of obsession (face mask). Hehehe~

A girl, even when stressed, should still look beautiful! Just as the quote goes...

So move on and continue even if terrible things happen. Remember to still regard problems as if it's nothing. Thankfully, we have cosmetics to help us look good even if we are under tremendous stress. Hehehe

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
