Cosplay Plans for 2014... and Beyond!

Let’s start 2014 with some cosplans. Actually, I do hope that these won’t remain as plans. Hahaha~ I love cosplay and I love doing it if there is no pressure. I am already facing pressure in all facets of life and cosplay is the only space for me to breathe.

1. King

Now King is my favorite video game character of all time. Even when I was a kid, my favorite was King of Fighters and I always play as King. Her fighting style is Muay Thai. Why I admire her? I was a bit of a tomboyish girl in my youth. But I like her style, boyish yet so feminine. I can’t wait to cosplay her!

2. Misaka Mikoto

She is a character from the light novel series: To Aru Majutsu no Index.  If so, she would be the first light novel based character that I would cosplay. She is included here in my cosplans for someone. I’m more of an anime kind of gal, but I guess I need to read more manga for Misaka. While Misaka Mikoto may look like an ordinary girl, she is actually a psyker more famously known as the 3rd most powerful Psyker in the fictional Academy City. Truly, she is one of the more popular characters in the To Aru Majutsu no Index universe.

3. Rei Ayanami - Maid Version

Continuing my Rei Ayanami cosplay is my portrayal of another character version. I figured that the maid version is cute too. Furthermore, I would like to improve on my Rei cosplay, as well.

4. Katniss Everdeen

Being a Tribute myself, of course I want to cosplay Katniss, too. She has a lot of costumes, from the arena to the capitol. The choices are endless. That is what I like, I get to cosplay a lot of ‘em. But first stop is my first favorite: The District 12 Arena costume of The Hunger Games movie.

5. The Pink Ranger

I haven’t cosplayed a character from a live action series before. So I took the challenge to cosplay Ahim de Famille of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (Pirate Squadron Gokaiger). I like the feminine costume and the pink color. I don’t know much about this character but I will study her. After two years in cosplay, I have learned to adapt to the character, whether he or she is a protagonist or a villain.

Ahim de Famille

Well with that many characters to cosplay, I think i will be quite busy in the next year. It will be a very exciting 2014 ahead for me while I plan and TRY to cosplay all of them. Hahahah~ Like I said, I put no pressure on my shoulders at this. So we’ll see how it will all turn out. These are my cosplay plans of 2014… and beyond!

Until the next time, have yourselves a Blessed and Happy New Year!

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
