A Gift from Shiseido and Sample Room

I joined the Sample Room Shiseido Ibuki blog contest with hopes to win! But God heard my prayer in a different way...

Yay! I didn't expect to win on Instagram! I am not even active in there. Actually, I just saw the photo that I won three days later from the post date. It was the most wonderful surprise for me, especially now that my birthday is coming in about a month.

Then I had a quick flashback when I visited the Shiseido Oxygen Lounge in TriNoma. The booth was made up of transparent glass walls and you could see different Shiseido products from makeup, skin care, and the latest Ibuki line. Below is the winning Instagram photo:

Christine was the Shiseido lady who gave me an introduction about the new product. She also gave me a short facial to experience the Ibuki line. Actually, it wasn't my first time to try out this product as I got samples from Sample Room days before. But I love the facial! Christine was so good at massaging and the whole experience was very relaxing! It was quick as well, lasting for only twenty minutes. Shiseido Ibuki does live up to it's claim that it is for millenials! See, even the facial was fast.

Then weeks later, I won the contest! Yay! I thought I would only get one product. So I decided to wonder what it would be. Everything in the Shiseido Ibuki line is promising. My favorite is the Refining Moisturizer and it would be great to own it. However, I still don't have an eye care regimen so the Eye Correcting Cream would work just fine.

But I really don't mind what it was! The feeling of excitement, or being surprised was coursing through my veins. And last Saturday (Oct. 19), I lost my breath for a moment when I saw the package lying on my bed.

It came like a gift, wrapped in a Shiseido paper bag with a heartwarming message. Awww... (^_^)

The package! Wow!

.. with the Sample Room Sticker! Cute!

I really appreciate this. Thanks, SR Team! :)
It was sealed well. I had to remove the adhesives first but in every second, my heartbeat went faster. The thrill of knowing what's inside made me eager to open it the soonest!

The pink paper inside completed the gift look!
And now...
I got Refining Moisturizer AND the Eye Correcting Cream
Tadaah! My eyes got teary when I found out that I got BOTH of my heart's desire! Thank you to Shiseido and the Sample Room team for this wonderful and early birthday gift!

The gift! :)

I realized that the old saying is true, then: all you want in this life comes true, they just come in different packaging. (^_^) I'm so happy, very very happy!

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
