[Review] Chocolate Heart Cookie from Tous Les Jours

Who here loves chocolate? Yay! I'm so excited to write about my favorite food: chocolate! In my recent visit to my favorite bakeshop Tous Les Jours , a really cute heart shaped cookie caught my eye! I didn't have second thoughts on getting it! If it's from Tous Les Jours , then I will love it! Chocolate Heart Cookie from Tous Les Jours It is as big as my palm and it is kinda heavy, too. So I know that this one is packed! Here are the ingredients of the Chocolate Heart Cookie: The ingredients. A chocolate filling is sandwiched between chocolate cookies and everything is coated with chocolate! Oh! Am I overusing the word 'chocolate' now? LOL! The cookies are soft, with a mild kick to it due to the dark chocolate. The creamy milk chocolatey flavor comes from the filling and coating.  The interior of the cookie. :)  Being a sweet tooth, I felt that the level of sweetness is just right. Eating this made me glad! It is so effective in bringing out tho

[Review] Mango Yakult Tea from Bon Appetea

I took a break from my usual milk tea because it's summer! The season makes me crave for fruity drinks and food! Whenever I go to Bon Appetea, I always order Nirvana . But this time, I ordered Mango Yakult . Mango for the summer season and Yakult... because I love that drink!  This fruity concoction is yellow in color with tapioca pearls sinking at the bottom. My first sip was refreshing with a burst of mango and with a hint of that particular Yakult taste. However,  being thick and sweet,  mango overpowers everything here. I expected this to be a smoothie or shake type but it was made of mango puree, instead. So overall, it was a juice- Yakult drink.  I am not sure if there is any tea added here. The tea flavor was not apparent. The tapioca pearls don't complement the drink at all, but having them there is not bad either. Upon standing, the drink separates and forms layers so I had to constantly stir it.  Overall, I like this drink! It beats out the summer heat and th

Oh No Manga Cosplay Camp 2

One anime event that I love is Oh No Manga. I was present for the first one last year and I gotta commend the organizers for putting up a really good event! Everything was in order and I appreciate how the numbers of the cosplayers were printed and laminated. It felt so good wearing that number on stage. :)  This year's event went a notch higher. The theme was Oh No Manga Cosplay Camp 2: The Coin and Flour Saga and was held on July 7, 2013 at SMX Convention Center Hall 1. There was better venue, stage, and more freebies for participants to enjoy! Yay!  Gorgeous stage!  Just like last year's Oh No Manga Cosplay Camp, a huge Gundam was also on display. But now, Tokyo Tower was included!  The Gundam Display and the awesome Tokyo Tower display. What I love about this event are the free professional photo booths! Here is my friend Reeve and his photo taken by the excellent pros of Kiaroscuro House of Art and Photography : And my photo taken by the great phot
