Shiseido White Lucent Sample Room Challenge

The Shiseido White Lucent Spot Targeting Serum and Power Brightening Mask has been raved about in the blogosphere recently. In my recent Sample Room haul, I was given some samples to try out. With this, I was thrilled to also join the 7-day challenge involving these ultimate pair from Shiseido.

The Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum.

The Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask.
I got the sample size of 9mL for the Spot Targeting Serum and one piece of the Power Brightening Mask. This was enough for seven days at the least. Though I still have some left of the serum. Yay!

I took a photo of myself on Day Zero. This was my skin condition when I got home from work. Stress and pollution made it dull and tired. The pimple scars on my forehead and nose is visible too.

I stayed true to the recommended routine of the White Lucent Pair! I applied the serum every morning and night, after toner and before moisturizer. This was done for seven days straight! With each day, I observed any changes that might occur.

The Spot Targeting Serum has a light texture and it gets absorbed by the skin easily. It refreshed my skin and I didn't feel any stinging sensation at all. Being non greasy, it didn't interfere with the application of my moisturizer afterwards.

The directions at the back of sample bottle.
On the seventh day, I used the Power Brightening Mask. When I opened the foil pack, I saw how the mask was soaked in the essence. When I took it, it was so heavy from all the liquid. However, I didn't have any trouble putting it on my face. It fit well on my cheeks and forehead, though not so on my chin.

The directions stated to leave the mask on for ten minutes. That is quite different from the other facial masks I use, which required twenty minutes. But when I used it, the mask dried up a little after 10 minutes exactly! I could feel the essence being absorbed by my skin. So I removed it according to the specified time.

Here is my photo wearing the Power Brightening Mask:

Boo!
So after seven days... The photo below is the result. I took this at the same time: when I got home after work. Notice that my skin doesn't look dull anymore. My skin's complexion has lightened up by a shade. The pimple scars on my forehead and nose is less noticeable now. This product is so impressive! Furthermore, I found that my skin has developed a certain kind of glow.

After seven days, this is the result.
The verdict? I like this White Lucent Pair from Shiseido! The result is visible enough and I will use the serum until the contents of the 9mL bottle runs out. Will I buy the full bottle? Yes, definitely! Thanks to Sample Room, I have been able to experience this ultimate  pair from Shiseido first hand!

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
