Cheesecake and Tea CBTL BDJ Coupon

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's "Free tea with every purchase of cheesecake" is my favorite BDJ Coupon. I have used this type of offer since my first Belle de Jour Power Planner back in 2011. I love sweets, especially cakes and I just couldn't resist an exciting offer such as this!

For this coupon in the 2013 BDJ Planner, I spent it at CBTL Greenbelt 3. The ambience there is so relaxing. The place was shining off yellow lights which calmed the eyes. The background music played was jazz.... typical coffee shop music! I love this place!

I bought my favorite Toblerone Cheesecake. This has been my staple in every CBTL visit. However, I have noticed that the Toblerone bits on top has lessened from before. *Sad* For the free tea, I chose English Breakfast. This one goes perfectly with any sweet stuff.

My Toblerone Cheesecake and English Breakfast tea.
The Toblerone Cheesecake was the first cake I have tried in CBTL and I have never tried any flavor since. *Haha* The crust is made up of Oreo bits. The soft brown middle layer is a combination of Toblerone flavor and cream cheese. The white top layer has no hint of chocolate, you will only taste the sourness of the cream cheese. And now, for my favorite part: the Toblerone toppings! Even if only present in small amounts, I can say that this is the sweetest part of all.

However, the overall taste of this cheesecake is too sweet that it would hurt your tonsils if you don't drink after every bite. That is when the English Breakfast tea comes in. Pairing tea with any food is perfect. It removes the oils and any after taste left in your mouth. Not to mention, tea is a relaxing drink to begin with.

I love this sweet and relaxing pair of comfort food! It is something I always have in CBTL, with or without the BDJ Coupon.

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!

[Food Review] Everyday Tous Les Jours

My addiction with Tous les Jours started when my cousin brought home a whole load of breads from the said bakery. She recommended that their products are of high quality, while handing me their bestseller aptly called as "Sweet Black Rice Bread with Cream Cheese". Upon taking my first bite, I couldn't stop eating it up until the last piece. With that inspiration, I decided to go visit one of their stores for a closer look.  I went to their branch in SM North. The store is located in The Block near SM Hypermarket. Saturated with yellow lights and wooden furniture, Tous Les Jours had the french bakery/coffee shop aura. Tous Les Jours signage in SM North The front view of the store.  Yummy breads on display!  Breads on display for sale. Oh! There is my favorite! Following my cousin's recommendation, I bought the one with cream cheese filling. However, I had a dilemma which one to choose as it has two variants. The one with black sesame? or plain

Rain and HyunA

After four months, the Rain Effect still leaves a mark in me. It is a great album and if I have all the time in the world, I would feature each track in a full write up. For this sixth volume, Rain had a song which featured the K-Pop artist HyunA. It is entitled "Where are you going, Oppa?" and it has a nice Arabian-like beat infused with bass and hip hop, it hints of sexiness too.  For today, I will write about this song that was successful in bringing out a reaction in me. Let’s listen… Fan video by Miyu MaGirlYura So now you understand why it brought a reaction in me? Hehehe ~ It means that the artist is successful in bringing out the emotion through a song. One thing is for sure, Rain chose the perfect girl to sing with him. Both are top caliber artists in their own field. And because of him, I now like HyunA and I researched about her. Kum Hyuna (HyunA) I already know the entertainer named HyunA. I can't remember how, though. I just know her as the n
