Waiting for Rain

Did you know that I hate rain? Whenever the sky darkens and droplets of water fall from the sky, my spirit gets gloomy. Rain means getting my feet wet from the flood and puddles. Rain means me getting my clothes and other things wet. Rain means me getting sick from the cold.

I think of negative things when it rains. Yet there is a person who inspires me greatly and has taken on the name Rain. The more I get to know him, the more I admire him. His fans from all over the world can surely relate to what I feel. He makes me happy. He compels me to think positive despite the hardships of life.

His name is Rain. (Photo courtesy of http://tvdaily.mk.co.kr/)
When he smiles, I see myself smiling too. He will always be one of the people who influenced me in a big way. Rain inspires me to move on with my dream and to love my work. He is God's blessing to me!

What about rainfall? Even if I associate it with cold suffering, Rain however, chose to be remembered as such:

'But, the only thing I can do for you is to work hard to achieve my goal. That is, even some 30 or 40 years later when you become a mother or a grand mother of a family, I want you to remember me when you see rain falling from the sky.  I want to be remembered as, ‘a young man who once had a passion (for his work) that made me happy.’

Now, rain has an entirely new meaning to me. Whenever the sky darkens and starts to drizzle, I see myself smiling at the thought of Rain. Sure, I still get my feet and things wet. There is still the probability of myself getting sick because of the cold. But now, I trek them with a smile on my face. And that makes all the difference.

I am here, waiting for Rain.
I am waiting for July to come quickly!

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!

[Food Review] Everyday Tous Les Jours

My addiction with Tous les Jours started when my cousin brought home a whole load of breads from the said bakery. She recommended that their products are of high quality, while handing me their bestseller aptly called as "Sweet Black Rice Bread with Cream Cheese". Upon taking my first bite, I couldn't stop eating it up until the last piece. With that inspiration, I decided to go visit one of their stores for a closer look.  I went to their branch in SM North. The store is located in The Block near SM Hypermarket. Saturated with yellow lights and wooden furniture, Tous Les Jours had the french bakery/coffee shop aura. Tous Les Jours signage in SM North The front view of the store.  Yummy breads on display!  Breads on display for sale. Oh! There is my favorite! Following my cousin's recommendation, I bought the one with cream cheese filling. However, I had a dilemma which one to choose as it has two variants. The one with black sesame? or plain

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the
