Samples from Kiehl's

The 2013 Belle de Jour Power Planner has fabulous coupons inside it! The first one that caught my attention was the free samples from Kiehl's. I have been hearing this brand from beauty bloggers and they rave about how good it is! So, before my movie date last weekend, I saw to it that I dropped by Kiehl's in SM Mall of Asia to redeem my coupon.

2013 BDJ Planner Kiehl's coupon.
The Kiehl's boutique had a chemical and medical concept. It was cool! The shelves, floors and walls were wooden. Information about the products were posted on the walls as well. There were technical posters and laboratory items like mortar, pestle, and flasks. Maybe it appeals to other people but the store felt like my workplace. I had a mixed feelings of stress and happiness at the same time.

The sales person was very accommodating. Her name was Rose. She was smiling as she asked my concern. As I presented her the coupon, I told her that I want samples that would address my big pores. Then, she happily reached for the drawers behind her and got me three items.

Three samples to address big pores.
Rose gave me Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser, Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner, and Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion. Perfect! I have a new skin care routine to try out! This would also be the first time that I will use something from Kiehl's. I'm so happy for these samples! I do hope that it can minimize my pores. Now let's see if I will also rave about Kiehl's as much as other beauty bloggers did.

Wow, you used it already! :D I'll use mine when I drop by Makati or MOA. I don't want to redeem it in Trinoma, they might skimp on their samples! Haha

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi

My Playlist

My taste for music spans a lot of genre! I like Pop, Rock, Alternative, K-pop, J-pop, and RnB. What makes me like the song is the lyrics foremost, and rhythm would be next. I am not really a music junkie. I can't even sing! But I turn to music to make me relax whenever I'm stressed out. It also makes me forget time. As of the moment, my playlist involves a lot of K-Pop songs, thanks to Rain for that matter. There are also Filipino, English and Japanese songs. When I play music, I really pay attention to it. I listen to the rhythm, the tempo, the artist's voice, and the overall emotions of the song. That was how my music critique self was born! It's been a long time since I posted an album review. My playlist for the moment is as shown below. I usually put it on shuffle so this is not ranked according to how I like the music. Credits of the YouTube videos that I embedded goes to their respective owners.  1. My Way by Rain - This is the only song which made me cry
