[Review] L'oreal Night Repair Essence

From the October BDJ Box, the next product that I will review is the L'oreal Night Repair Essence. This is part of their Revitalift range or anti-aging line. I got the sample size with the volume of 5mL. I was not really sure if this product is applicable to my age. However, since it was included in the box, then it must be.

The official description from the BDJ Box is:

L'OREAL REVITALIFT INTENSIVE NIGHT REPAIR ESSENCE, 5 ML
Stimulates your skin's natural lifters and revives your skin's firmness and elasticity.

The 5mL sample size of L'oreal Night Repair Essence.
As per exploring the small bottle, I found out how to use this product. At the back part, it was written: 'Use everyday in the evening on cleansed skin before your usual skin care.' So I just considered this as a night moisturizer.

The back part of the bottle.
The content was a clear transparent fluid. It was easily absorbed by the skin. However, this one had a slight sting on my skin, as much as other anti-aging products that I have used.

Its effects were immediate. I applied this product on my eyelids and I couldn't open my eyes without having to fight the instant firmness of my skin. The following morning, I could feel the positive effect on my cheeks.

So, I continuously used this product for five days. By then, I could really feel the stiffness of my skin to the point that I had to put effort to move my cheeks while smiling or talking. Now I know what Botox feels like.

I can say that L'oreal Night Repair Essence is for those who need to treat serious aging problems. With my young skin at 25, the effects were overpowering. Because of that, I decided  to use this the night before important events for a better skin condition. With such measures, this 5mL sample can go a long way.

Thanks for the tip! I'm 25, too, so I'll make sure to use the sample bottle in my BDJ Box sparingly :) Great review!

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
