Otaku Expo 2013 -Cosplayers and Toys

Otaku Expo 2013 was the first event that I attended for the year 2013. It was held last January 26, 2013 in SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 1. Though a fateful day for us cosplayers, I still consider this event a success.

My Otaku Expo ticket.
I am still thankful for this day because I was finally able to debut my Rei Ayanami cosplay. She is my second character in my cosplay portfolio. Rei is a character from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion

Me as Rei Ayanami. Photo by Reeve Castillo.
The event had the usual booths: merchant booths, food kiosks, and gaming booths. My favorite one is the toy display area by Team Onii-chan!. Here are a few photos:

The figure toy display.

Yay! I also found a Rei Ayanami figure!

Now this! I like Linkin Park

Asuka Langley Soryu of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Despite what happened, I was able to spent some time with my cosplayer friends, had a short photo shoot, and met new people who never fail to impress me with their creativity. Here are my photos of cosplayers:

Cosplayer Reeve Castillo as Fushimi of Project K.

Cosplayer Knievel Rosaroso as Naruto of Naruto Shippuden.

...as Neko of Project K.

....as Hatsune Miku.

....as Cloud Strife.

....as Lili of Tekken.

...as Kyo Kusanagi of King of Fighters.

Cosplay is not just for anime. This guy came in as Zayn Malik of One Direction!

...as Kakashi of Naruto Shippuden.

...as Noctis Lucis Caelum of Final Fantasy.

...as Mario Brothers.

Cosplayer Kristell Lim as Ada Wong.

....as Sakura Haruno of Naruto.

My favorite cosplayer of the day is Jerome Velarde as Vega of Street Fighter. His costume is very detailed and he poses well! The sculpt of his body is close to the character of Vega, as well.

I love cosplay and this makes me see the positive side of yesterday. This hobby will always be a source of inspiration to me, no matter how many people try to spread malicious information involving it. If needed, I will become as strong as the characters I cosplay to defend it.

The 2019 Starbucks SG Planner

Happy New Year, dear readers! The year 2019 comes with new wishes, new beginnings, and of course, new planners! Yay! I'm excited for all of it. The new year for me means a fresh start for all the failures I've had for the previous year. Yep, I feel ya! 2018 was kinda rough for me, too. But anyways, I'm here to share with you a tool to help us face the days ahead.  I'm sure that some of us take life as it goes along. But there are others, like me, who have a planning personality. And lemme tell ya, it's really frustrating how things don't go according to plan. Most of the time, life doesn't make it go as planned. Ugh... But fret not! Even if life foils everything, that doesn't stop us from using planners! Wheee~ They're cute and inspirational. They give us a sense of "getting our life together" , too. Hahaha~ So for this post, I'm gonna share with you the Starbucks Singapore  2019 planner!  The 2019 Starbucks Singapore Planner

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour: SM Mall of Asia Leg

I still can't believe that it was just two nights ago (November 18, 2012), I saw Lee Min Ho in the flesh! As early as 5:30PM, I was already in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, joining the fans as we eagerly wait for his arrival. The crowd was very overwhelming. I bet some people waited there two hours earlier than I did!  Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor. His popular dramas include Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Faith among others. His prowess as an actor and his to-die-for looks are enough to make women go gaga over him -me included!  He is my favorite actor. I love his dramas. In the future, as I gain more skills, I plan to cosplay his characters, especially Johnny from City Hunter. He is the reason why I love Korean products like Etude House . Now, I have another brand to love... and it's a Filipino brand! I'm very happy that Lee Min Ho is the latest endorser of the clothing line, Bench .  Crowds make me uncomfortable. It was my first time to have ever attended

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!
