Of Scenery and Weddings

It's nice to be able to go back home to the province even just for a short while. Being here, I have realized how much I miss traveling by sea and to see endless greens of sugarcane and trees by the roads. Everything here is so clean and cool.

The view as we traveled by sea.
I'm here because I attended the wedding of my cousin. Well, my father has a better camera than I do. Aha! My photographer self is at it again. Donning a dress with complete hair and makeup, I didn't care how to move or behave,  just to get that perfect shot!

Me, dressed up for the occasion.. with my father's camera.
Here are my favorite shots. At the church, just when my cousin (the bride) and the groom were on the altar. I snapped this one out real fast as official photographers came in taking a similar shot!

The bride and the groom at the altar.
At the reception, the bride and groom also released balloons into the air. Oh! I'm so glad that the camera could capture it on air! It was so far!

The balloons on air!
I would never forget the food there! I have probably eaten one of the best Paella ever! The desserts were worth mentioning too! I love the blueberry cheesecake and brownies that I had to take two pieces of it.

The lechon is always a part of special occasions.

Blueberry Cheesecake! :)

My desserts platter. Two pieces each of ... shhhh...
Now, the next part came in as a surprise to all of us. Earlier on, I explored the features of my father's digital camera, and found out that it has "Fireworks" as one of the programmed 'scenes'. I never thought that I would use it at a rush!

The couple by the gazebo enjoying the fireworks.

Lastly, I saw to it that I took a photo of at least one flower. This rose caught my attention. Ah! Time for my macro photography skills! It's not much but I'm satisfied.

The rose.
Of scenery and weddings. Inspiration can just come out of ordinary things. This time, it came in through my father's digital camera. With all these pictures, you just had a tour of random stuffs in my head. There are a whole lot of them, right?

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
