My Playlist

My taste for music spans a lot of genre! I like Pop, Rock, Alternative, K-pop, J-pop, and RnB. What makes me like the song is the lyrics foremost, and rhythm would be next. I am not really a music junkie. I can't even sing! But I turn to music to make me relax whenever I'm stressed out. It also makes me forget time. As of the moment, my playlist involves a lot of K-Pop songs, thanks to Rain for that matter. There are also Filipino, English and Japanese songs. When I play music, I really pay attention to it. I listen to the rhythm, the tempo, the artist's voice, and the overall emotions of the song. That was how my music critique self was born! It's been a long time since I posted an album review. My playlist for the moment is as shown below. I usually put it on shuffle so this is not ranked according to how I like the music. Credits of the YouTube videos that I embedded goes to their respective owners.  1. My Way by Rain - This is the only song which made me cry

Grips Hair Styling Products by SkinTec

With the rise of hip and cool hairstyles to improve your self-image, it is important to choose products that provide not only quality but also nourishment to your hair. SkinTec Advance Inc. developed   Grips hair styling products  specifically made not only to style, but to also care for the hair. It is available in three forms: gel, clay, and wax. Just chose your preference, depending on your purpose and hair type. Based on my experience, gels are best used on setting curls. Good thing the loot bag from SkinTec also included Grips Hair Gel. Whenever I curl my hair, I apply gel to fix it. I also use it to prevent frizz. So far, the product has performed well. It dries up a few minutes after application and it holds my hair in place instantly, may it be wet or dry. It smells good too! I can't tell which exactly, but the scent is one of those candies in my childhood: sweet and refreshing. Plus, Grips Hair Gel is formulated with D-Panthenol to moisturize your hair.  Grips

Otaku Expo 2013 -Cosplayers and Toys

Otaku Expo 2013 was the first event that I attended for the year 2013. It was held last January 26, 2013 in SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 1.  Though a fateful day for us cosplayers, I still consider this event a success.  My Otaku Expo ticket. I am still thankful for this day because I was finally able to debut my Rei Ayanami cosplay. She is my second character in my cosplay portfolio. Rei is a character from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion .  Me as Rei Ayanami. Photo by Reeve Castillo . The event had the usual booths: merchant booths, food kiosks, and gaming booths. My favorite one is the toy display area by Team Onii-chan! . Here are a few photos: The figure toy display. Yay! I also found a Rei Ayanami figure! Now this! I like Linkin Park  Asuka Langley Soryu of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Despite what happened, I was able to spent some time with my cosplayer friends, had a short photo shoot , and met new people who never fail to impress me
