Berry Bitten by Jamba Juice

I just turned into a berry vampire after I tried Berry Bitten by Jamba Juice It is good to try something new besides milk tea, frozen yogurt, or coffee blended drinks. I recently visited their kiosk at SM Mall of Asia. The store's location is near the ice skating rink.

Jamba Juice in SM Mall of Asia.
Honestly, my motivation for going there is the Twilight Breaking Dawn promotion they have. They are currently serving this Twilight-inspired limited edition drink named Berry Bitten. Plus, the drink comes with a snap bracelet freebie with vampire coven prints on it. Other than that, a 'cup warmer' with Breaking Dawn print comes with it, too. What saddens me most is that they didn't put the drink in a transparent cup. :(

The smallest size of 16 ounces cost PhP155. The price is worth it as the smoothie is above standard compared to the local brands. Of course, I couldn't resist Breaking Dawn merchandise, as well.

My drink with the freebies.

I was very impressed by the Berry Bitten smoothie. It was so fruity that I was instantly convinced that the drink is healthy! I could taste blueberry, strawberry, and the most dominant flavor is mixed berries. If you are familiar with the Mixed Berries gelato, that is exactly how it tasted like. There were berry 'seeds' (those violet floating thingy) and half blueberries floating all over the drink, too. This smoothie does not have the 'sugary' flavor as compared to local ones. It's sweetness naturally comes from the berries, with a little bit of sourness contributed by the yogurt.

I immediately asked the barista the ingredients of this yummy concoction. According to the best of my memory, she said Mixed Berries Syrup, Apple-Strawberry Juice, Blueberries, Raspberry Sherbet, and Frozen Yogurt. Hmmm... that is all I can remember, maybe missing an ingredient or two.

A closer look at Berry Bitten.
What impressed me most is the glassy look of the smoothie. The thick texture is a combination of soft liquid and hard berry 'seeds'. Unlike leading local smoothies, this one is not watery. Through to the end of the drink, the components did not separate at all. Thus, it gives you a consistent flavor from the first sip to the last.

Very thick and 'glassy'.
The drink was very good! I just had to know more about Jamba Juice and their philosophy:

Why Jamba Juice?
Jamba Juice has my two thumbs up! I will surely be back to try more variants! My love for it now goes beyond Twilight! Get your cup of Berry Bitten before it's gone! If you like yogurt with blueberries, you will definitely love this one, too!

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
