Craving for more J.Co Donuts

It is a common scenario when you see a J.Co store serving a long queue. In fact, that is the sole reason why I haven't tried this raved about donut in such a long time. Patience is not one of my virtues. But my cousin brought a dozen of J.Co donuts home, and it was the first time to have tried it. Woah! I was so impressed by the play of flavors that I just had to be have the patience to visit a store!

I visited the J.Co branch in SM Megamall. Its location was hard to find. You have to go to Mega B and then, when you see a BDO branch, go out of the air-conditioned mall interior to get there. The place is called "The Strip", as it is lined with various restaurants.

I went there at 11 AM, and the queue was already long! I waited in line trying to keep myself busy by observing the people and the place! But it was the free, yes free, yogurt sample that the J.Co staff gave away which won my patience! Yay! I didn't know they serve yogurt too! It was yummy! Sour, yes, but not too creamy. The chocolate cereal topping added that much loved sweetness.

I finished the yogurt just in time for my turn to order. I chose one of the bestsellers, Alcapone (PhP42), as I wasn't able to try it in my cousin's bunch. But it was still a long way to the payment counter! However, the wonderful view was enough entertainment:

From left: Why Nut, Green Tease, and Choconuttzy.

I ordered my Alcapone for dine-in. The place was nice! The play of orange, brown and yellow color of the interior contribute to a relaxing coffee shop atmosphere. Despite the high volume of people coming in, the place was not noisy as I thought it would.

Now, time to get lost to my Alcapone! Actually, when I was on queue earlier on, I feared that they would run out of this. Almost everyone orders it! Thankfully, the J.Co crew had a lot of refills!

This donut is named Alcapone.
So here is my take on this beloved donut: it is glazed with white Belgian chocolate topped with almonds. The donut texture is very soft, which exaggerates the hardness of the almonds. The glaze is creamy and milky sweet with a hint of caramel. The overall sweetness is just right that I could eat it without the help of water! The flavor doesn't stay long on the tongue so it makes you crave for more!

Ah yes! Time is definitely faster when you're having fun. I enjoyed eating Alcapone that it was gone in a snap! One is surely not enough. Better get two donuts for dine-in. Else, you would have to go back on queue again!

Or you could take home the top six bestsellers (PhP230) and enjoy J.Co donuts with your family and friends...

The top six bestsellers.
So if before I wondered, why all these J.Co hype? Now it is clearly justified!

The 2019 Starbucks SG Planner

Happy New Year, dear readers! The year 2019 comes with new wishes, new beginnings, and of course, new planners! Yay! I'm excited for all of it. The new year for me means a fresh start for all the failures I've had for the previous year. Yep, I feel ya! 2018 was kinda rough for me, too. But anyways, I'm here to share with you a tool to help us face the days ahead.  I'm sure that some of us take life as it goes along. But there are others, like me, who have a planning personality. And lemme tell ya, it's really frustrating how things don't go according to plan. Most of the time, life doesn't make it go as planned. Ugh... But fret not! Even if life foils everything, that doesn't stop us from using planners! Wheee~ They're cute and inspirational. They give us a sense of "getting our life together" , too. Hahaha~ So for this post, I'm gonna share with you the Starbucks Singapore  2019 planner!  The 2019 Starbucks Singapore Planner

Lee Min Ho Mall Tour: SM Mall of Asia Leg

I still can't believe that it was just two nights ago (November 18, 2012), I saw Lee Min Ho in the flesh! As early as 5:30PM, I was already in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, joining the fans as we eagerly wait for his arrival. The crowd was very overwhelming. I bet some people waited there two hours earlier than I did!  Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor. His popular dramas include Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Faith among others. His prowess as an actor and his to-die-for looks are enough to make women go gaga over him -me included!  He is my favorite actor. I love his dramas. In the future, as I gain more skills, I plan to cosplay his characters, especially Johnny from City Hunter. He is the reason why I love Korean products like Etude House . Now, I have another brand to love... and it's a Filipino brand! I'm very happy that Lee Min Ho is the latest endorser of the clothing line, Bench .  Crowds make me uncomfortable. It was my first time to have ever attended

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!
