Cosplay Mania 2012 Day 2

Cosplay Mania 2011 garnered the most views among all of my posts here in my blog. It was truly exciting and if not, the most awaited event of 2011. Much of the hype last year still lives on as Cosplay Mania 2012 became one of the successful events on the year! I went on Day 2 (Sept. 30, 2012) of Cosplay Mania '12 at SMX Convention Center.

The ticket and the Cosplay Mania strap. :)
With the ever growing popularity of cosplay in the Philippines, I expected that a lot of people, cosplayers, con-goers, and photographers, would come to this event. Truth is, the number was so overwhelming! I didn't have space to move around properly. The venue was divided into three: the free area, Function Room 4 for exhibitors and booths, and Function Room 5 for cosplay contests and stage performances. But no matter where you go, every space is filled with people!

I went as my ever character Sakura Haruno of Naruto Shippuden. It was my first time attending Cosplay Mania as a cosplayer. I had fun meeting my cosplayer friends! I really love this hobby!

Celebrity cosplayers and guests were also there. International cosplayers who graced the event are Reika, Kaname, and Jesuke. Unfortunately, due to overwhelming crowds, I wasn't able to get a nice picture of them. *Sad*Cries*

They were that far! (>_<)
Moving on... I didn't give up and tried to get closer. But.. this was all I could muster...(T_T) *cries again*

Reika and Kaname as judges for the group cosplay competition. So near yet so far!

Since this was Cosplay Mania, I decided to save my camera's batteries for cosplayers. Here they are:

Cosplayer Knievel Rosaroso as Naruto

Cosplayer Lot as Green Hornet

Cosplayer  Mayden Ong as Shirahoshi of One Piece

Cosplayer Shaoron Tan

Cosplayer Beru as Alice in Wonderland

Cosplayer Ralph Patrick Villaluz as Piers from Golden Sun

My friend Maricor.

Monique Dimanlig as a Geisha
Cosplayer Reeve Castillo as Sebastian from Black Butler

Cosplayer Mari Chii Perez

Cosplayer JL Lavarias

Cosplayer Don Robert as Tony Stark

My favorite cosplayer of the day is...*drum roll*... Schindlex as Katarina from League of Legends!

She perfected the role as Katarina! Every detail of her costume is accurate. Her poses are awesome, just take a look at her stance at the above photo. My favorite part of her cosplay is her makeup! That scar on the left eye is convincing!

Cosplay and more cosplay! That pretty much summed up my unforgettable Cosplay Mania '12 experience. I'm still having that post-event excitement. However, if I there is one more thing I wish for... it is for Kaname and Reika to come back to the Philippines! ***I want a photo with them!***

A Full Moon: My Second Fanfiction is Here!

Heya Dearies!  Following my first fanfiction The Path of The Unspecialized (The King's Avatar Fanfic) , which was posted in Webnovel, m y next story is now ready to be published! I'm very excited to share this with you. One of the video games that I have played for a very long time is The Sims. Started around 19 years ago, thereabouts. Until now, I don't get tired of creating Sims and building houses. Though yes, there have been times where I was disappointed at how buggy the game is... but yeah, it hasn't stopped me from playing the game. Hahaha~ The Sims is a life simulation and oftentimes, I create stories for my sims. What would they look like? How would they start out? Where would they live? With The Sims 4: Vampires game pack came Caleb Vatore, who became my favorite pre-made sim. I would pair him up with a sim of my own.  And in the process of playing, I eventually got inspired to write down how their story would go in my version of The Sims 4 world. So p r

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!

[Food Review] Everyday Tous Les Jours

My addiction with Tous les Jours started when my cousin brought home a whole load of breads from the said bakery. She recommended that their products are of high quality, while handing me their bestseller aptly called as "Sweet Black Rice Bread with Cream Cheese". Upon taking my first bite, I couldn't stop eating it up until the last piece. With that inspiration, I decided to go visit one of their stores for a closer look.  I went to their branch in SM North. The store is located in The Block near SM Hypermarket. Saturated with yellow lights and wooden furniture, Tous Les Jours had the french bakery/coffee shop aura. Tous Les Jours signage in SM North The front view of the store.  Yummy breads on display!  Breads on display for sale. Oh! There is my favorite! Following my cousin's recommendation, I bought the one with cream cheese filling. However, I had a dilemma which one to choose as it has two variants. The one with black sesame? or plain
