JYJ for Tony Moly

One of my favorite K-Pop bands, JYJ, is the newest endorser of Tony Moly! I was very happy to hear this good news. Tony Moly have branches here in my country and I can easily go there without the hassle. Of course, I just had to drop by for a visit!  Just grabbed this photo from Tony Moly FB page I visited the branch at SM North EDSA and I love the colorful "Tony Moly" signage. Take note: the colors move every second or two! It's the first time I saw a boutique with a unique sign like that. And... I got excited when I saw the JYJ poster on the background! :) The Tony Moly boutique in SM North EDSA. A saleslady greeted me upon entering the store. And woah! It's my first time to see a salesperson in a Korean cosmetic store to be so talkative! Usually, they just follow me around and speak only to answer my questions. But this salesperson in Tony Moly built rapport with me. I like that! She followed me as I went through the store, all the while explaining th

My Multiply Site

I am sad to hear that multiply.com will stop it's social networking features to fully become an online shopping website. So, if you have a multiply site, download all your blogs and photos now as it will no longer be available starting December 1, 2012.  The news made me nostalgic as I remember my college days. It was a rivalry between Friendster and Multiply back then. I liked Friendster as most of my friends were there. However, it was multiply who gave me a chance to have my own site. Back then, I didn't understand what I was doing so I just typed in ultigamer.multiply.com . It was the only idea that came into my mind. But alas! When the time came that I wanted to change it to a more catchy name, it was just not possible anymore.  The header of my Multiply site with custom CSS by Limegemini I will miss Multiply as this was one of the sites where I started blogging. Truth is, I wrote my first reviews there. And that feature is the one that I will miss the most. Unli

My Perfect Arch on Cosplay Mania 2012

My second visit to Browhaus Greenbelt 5 proved to be a nice experience as the first time . The trigger for this visit is my Browhaus P500 Cash Coupon which I won last BDJ Passion Series: Filipina Forward ! I am very happy to have this in such perfect timing! I intended to go there a day prior to Cosplay Mania 2012 so I could have perfect eyebrows on this special event. I wanted to look better because international cosplayers would be there! Little that I knew, having professionally done eyebrows could make a huge difference! The specialist who treated my eyebrows was Cora. She did well in shaping my eyebrows. It wasn't as painful as before now, I guess we all get used to the pain. Cora was really fast and she was done in less than 15 minutes! Of course, I need to put makeup on whenever I cosplay. And the hardest part is...the eyebrows. It is difficult to shape it in a box-angular-arch shape thingy. On ordinary days, I usually use the angled brush with eyebrow color to defin

What is a Face Mask?

Even if I love cosmetics, there is still one product in the market that I am not yet fully aware of. Face Mask. What is it? And what is it used for? My collection of face masks. The photo shown above is my collection of face masks. The Essence Mask Vitamin A on the upper left is from Etude House and I bought that to complete a purchase requirement for a BDJ coupon . The Pearl Extract Mask on the center is also from Etude House, which I got from a  BDJ Rendevous as a giveaway. The upper right Royal Jelly Mask (also form Etude House) was given by my colleagues who visited Korea. The bottom left Lettuce and Cucumber Essence Mask from Skin Food was also given by a friend. I acquired the Lemon Face Mask with Kim Hyun Joong print from The Face Shop Club 20 VIP membership .  These masks just piled up in my drawer. Well, that was until I saw Kaika's video on YouTube about skin care for cosplayers. Kaika is a Singaporean cosplayer and I follow her blog at  http://thecosplaychr

Etude House BDJ Coupon

December is fast approaching and I realized that I haven't used my Etude House Belle de Jour Coupon yet. Its validity would only be up to December 31, 2012. So I decided to visit the store and splurge on some beauty products.  I love Etude House . It might be due to the cute pink princess-like packaging or the fact that they had Lee Min Ho as an endorser. The products that I have used so far reacted well with my skin. I have tried the BB Cream, the Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam, the Color My Brow eyebrow color, the eyeliners, and the Juicy Pop Tube Lip Gloss. The BDJ coupon gave a gift upgrade for a minimum purchase of PhP500. The illustration was so cute   that I had to take a photo of it. The EH BDJ Coupon So for this haul, I planned that a lip and cheek tint be included in my purchase. Last 2012 BDJ Fair , I went to the venue without makeup on. Thankfully, my friend Michelle gave me some of her lip and cheek tint. I was impressed by the product that I now want one

Limitless: The 2012 Belle de Jour Fair

I anticipated the coming of October 14, 2012 as it was the date of the 2012 Belle de Jour Fair. There were previous posts that I wrote about how excited I was to see the latest versions of the planner line of Viviamo, Inc. and about the activities to look forward to on the day itself. Truth be told, the event surpassed my expectations! Now, I am still having post-fair blues.  Me at the Belle de Jour Fair This year's Belle de Jour Fair was held at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. This year's theme is Limitless! The event was also the launching of the 2013 Belle de Jour Power Planner , Navi, Forget-Me-Not notebooks, and the newest Everything is Possible Planner. Other than planners, I also witnessed the launch of the latest service of Viviamo, Inc.: the BDJ Box.  Planners of Viviamo Inc. on sale at 20% off. I bought the matte covered planner for only P480 at the fair!  Lots of booths from various sponsors were there to hold activities where prizes could be won. Entr

Club 20 by The Face Shop

Just recently, I decided to become a member of The Face Shop's Club 20. I checked out some blogs and found it enticing! With all the samples included for a very affordable price of PhP150 (as of writing), I just couldn't resist it! Membership is good for one year. One of the perks of having this VIP Card is getting invites to exclusive events... and I love events!  Club 20 VIP Card by The Face Shop I bought mine at the SM North branch and I had to wait on queue as there were other girls who wanted to sign up, too. This sweet baby is only for P150  Just look at all the samples that came with it! The Lemon Facial Mask with Kim Hyun Joong print and the samples! Sunblock SPF 45 BB Cream O2 Water Recharge Essence Toner and Moisturizer Instructions on how to use these products were also included in the package: Woah! The process on applying these products seem to be arduous. Is this how Koreans keep their skin flawlessly perfect?

Surprise for the Taste Buds at ThaiDara Restaurant

Have you went to a place thinking "Okay, this will do." and ended up with "Wow!" ? That happened to me and my friends earlier when we went out to lunch. We were supposed to eat in a burger joint in Kapitolyo, Pasig. For some reason, we didn't push through with the burger plan. Thankfully, we saw the huge sign of ThaiDara Restaurant nearby. Since time was of the essence (we were only allowed an hour to eat), we randomly decided to eat there. I am a food lover and that is the reason why I almost always bring a camera or my phone with me. But I was having a bad day so I left it, expecting nothing less than ordinary food. However, the delicious taste of our lunch made me regret my decision. Thankfully, one of my friends brought her camera-phone with her.  Unfortunately, I can't give you a food review this time. Pardon the lack of photos, I was caught off-guard by the surprises life gave me earlier. What I can share with you are the experiences me and my f
