City Hunter Special Pre-Screening

ABS-CBN held a special pre-screening of the Korean drama City Hunter last Friday (January 20, 2012). I found out about this event on the City Hunter Philippines Facebook Page, and my friend signed me up right away. (^_^) Being a fan of Lee Min Ho, I'm so excited to write about it.

Crowd started to grow at around 5:30 PM. The place was filled with City Hunter and Lee Min Ho fans wearing black. Some had face masks and City Hunter costumes. At 6:00 PM, we were ushered to the Dolphy Theater to kick start the event.

First stop, we were given food stubs -free snacks from Burger and Fruitas.

Fans were also treated to a free photo at the Baicapture Photo booth.

Here are the photos outside the theater. There was a red carpet, fancy tables and chairs, and two television screens previewing City Hunter.

The event was attended by the Press, Bloggers, Dubbers, and other organizations. The theater was almost filled with attendees.
Our host for the event.

An ABS-CBN representative welcomed us all.
We were also treated to see a special trailer of the upcoming Korean Dramas to be aired in ABS-CBN for 2012. :) Unfortunately, I can't remember them all. :(

After that, lights were turned off and City Hunter started on screen. It was like watching a movie! It last for one and a half hour. Everybody was excited and along the scenes, we were so *kilig* and thrilled at the same time.

Prizes were given out as raffles after the preview. Luckily, I won an ABS-CBN jacket.

Before I left, I happened to see the dubber for the voice of Lee Min Ho in City Hunter. :)

City Hunter will start airing on ABS-CBN tonight (Januare 23, 2012) right after Pinoy Big Brother.

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!

[Food Review] Everyday Tous Les Jours

My addiction with Tous les Jours started when my cousin brought home a whole load of breads from the said bakery. She recommended that their products are of high quality, while handing me their bestseller aptly called as "Sweet Black Rice Bread with Cream Cheese". Upon taking my first bite, I couldn't stop eating it up until the last piece. With that inspiration, I decided to go visit one of their stores for a closer look.  I went to their branch in SM North. The store is located in The Block near SM Hypermarket. Saturated with yellow lights and wooden furniture, Tous Les Jours had the french bakery/coffee shop aura. Tous Les Jours signage in SM North The front view of the store.  Yummy breads on display!  Breads on display for sale. Oh! There is my favorite! Following my cousin's recommendation, I bought the one with cream cheese filling. However, I had a dilemma which one to choose as it has two variants. The one with black sesame? or plain

Rain and HyunA

After four months, the Rain Effect still leaves a mark in me. It is a great album and if I have all the time in the world, I would feature each track in a full write up. For this sixth volume, Rain had a song which featured the K-Pop artist HyunA. It is entitled "Where are you going, Oppa?" and it has a nice Arabian-like beat infused with bass and hip hop, it hints of sexiness too.  For today, I will write about this song that was successful in bringing out a reaction in me. Let’s listen… Fan video by Miyu MaGirlYura So now you understand why it brought a reaction in me? Hehehe ~ It means that the artist is successful in bringing out the emotion through a song. One thing is for sure, Rain chose the perfect girl to sing with him. Both are top caliber artists in their own field. And because of him, I now like HyunA and I researched about her. Kum Hyuna (HyunA) I already know the entertainer named HyunA. I can't remember how, though. I just know her as the n
