The Second Day of Pinoy Otaku Encore 2011

The first day of Pinoy Otaku Encore 2011 was a little laid back compare to what follows. Here now is my report for the second day! Yay! ^_^ I arrived early on November 27, 2011 in SM Megamall. Actually, I rarely go out on Sundays but this day was an exception. I have awaited this for 24 years of my life. And now, the time has finally arrived for my cosplay debut! :D

However, for this journal entry, I’m going to be a con-goer. It was not easy coming up with a report when you are cosplaying. But hey, I managed to bring it on, albeit poorly. So on with the event…

The crowd was a lot more than the first day. The event highlights happened on the second day, that’s why. There were K-pop Dance Contest, Battle of the Bands, and Cosplay Competition in the lineup. Of course, since I was also roaming around Megatrade Hall 3, I wasn’t able to cover all of these up close.

Fangirls and their deafening screams flooded the place when the K-pop Dance Contest started. Different groups danced and lip synched to their favorite idols on stage.

I had fun at the PUP Animerriage Booth! It was the noisiest place to be. A lot of people were enjoying there! I, too, got setup in there. Oh! Unfortunately, I was unable to take pictures! :( Does anyone have some of my pics?

Readers of this blog are familiar that I always dedicate space for cosplayers. They are the heart of the event after all. So far, this event has the most pictures of cosplayers so far! Well, it is obvious that I had more fun than any other event, right? :)

My favorite cosplayer of the day is… me! Hahaha! Nah, just kidding! In every event, I choose a cosplayer who, in my opinion, stands out among the crowd. For this special day, I choose…her who cosplayed Shiori Tsuzuki. Her costume is well made and she is into character very well.

I will forever remember this event in my life! Thank you to the cosplay community and to the NarutoCosplayers PH for organizing this event. You deserve its success! Till next cosplay! :)

[Review] Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub

Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub is a product that impressed me on my first try. Mostly, when I review beauty products, I use it at least a week to see the effects and results on my skin. I never thought that a body scrub can make me go "wow!" instantly! I got this from my Gluta-C Sample Room haul . And I used it the day after I got it. I was that excited!  This product is packaged in a tub. It is a soft, viscous, and grainy cream. The smell is nice, too! It has a cool perfume scent.  120g tub of Gluta-C Body Scrub This is how I used this: I wet my skin and then took an ample amount of the scrub and then applied it using circular motions. Afterwards, I put liquid body wash on a loofah then rubbed on my skin. I could feel the small grains from the scrub gently exfoliating my skin. I love the combination it does with the body wash. The bubbles and the foam make it comfortable! All the while, I know that my skin is thoroughly cleansed!  Here is the surprise!

[Food Review] Everyday Tous Les Jours

My addiction with Tous les Jours started when my cousin brought home a whole load of breads from the said bakery. She recommended that their products are of high quality, while handing me their bestseller aptly called as "Sweet Black Rice Bread with Cream Cheese". Upon taking my first bite, I couldn't stop eating it up until the last piece. With that inspiration, I decided to go visit one of their stores for a closer look.  I went to their branch in SM North. The store is located in The Block near SM Hypermarket. Saturated with yellow lights and wooden furniture, Tous Les Jours had the french bakery/coffee shop aura. Tous Les Jours signage in SM North The front view of the store.  Yummy breads on display!  Breads on display for sale. Oh! There is my favorite! Following my cousin's recommendation, I bought the one with cream cheese filling. However, I had a dilemma which one to choose as it has two variants. The one with black sesame? or plain

Rain and HyunA

After four months, the Rain Effect still leaves a mark in me. It is a great album and if I have all the time in the world, I would feature each track in a full write up. For this sixth volume, Rain had a song which featured the K-Pop artist HyunA. It is entitled "Where are you going, Oppa?" and it has a nice Arabian-like beat infused with bass and hip hop, it hints of sexiness too.  For today, I will write about this song that was successful in bringing out a reaction in me. Let’s listen… Fan video by Miyu MaGirlYura So now you understand why it brought a reaction in me? Hehehe ~ It means that the artist is successful in bringing out the emotion through a song. One thing is for sure, Rain chose the perfect girl to sing with him. Both are top caliber artists in their own field. And because of him, I now like HyunA and I researched about her. Kum Hyuna (HyunA) I already know the entertainer named HyunA. I can't remember how, though. I just know her as the n
