Level Up! Live 2011 Event Coverage

How I wish I can write only about the 'Ups' of this year's Level Up! Live. Long lines, prohibited stuff, and the rain made it all worse. If not for the cosplayers, this day would've completely gone bad. But in fairness to the organizers, the booths and the stage were properly done.

Nice ticket :)

Free play booth

Free carnival games and prizes! :)

Beautiful LU Live Stage
Okay, so let's get on with the cosplayers. Most of them went to the event as characters from Level Up! games like Ragnarok online. They all made amazing catwalks on stage.

And guess who I saw! It's Schindlex

Finally, my favorite cosplayer of the day is Nix Bennett:
She is a good cosplayer. Her attitude of being nice and courteous to people is what I liked best. Plus, she has an amazing smile. I gave her my LU Passport "Best Cosplay" stub even if she didn't register for the catwalk.

After that, I decided to go home. But wait! I needed to get my stuff in the baggage counter. >.< Ah! All the trouble I went through. It wasn't all organized. >.< Sigh. Security was overly tough in my opinion. Almost everything is prohibited: umbrella (even though it was raining! I had to stand in the rain on queue to get my belongings >.<), liquids (darn! My 25 mL alcohol and hair gel was banned. This is worse than airports! Airports only ban liquids 100 mL and up >.<), oh geez! even my make-up is not allowed (sheesh... what can a mere eyeliner do?), what? even ballpens?

Sigh. If it weren't for that darn baggage counter, I could have enjoyed the event better. Being my first time to attend, I was a bit disappointed at how this event turned up. All that hassle made me forget how excited I was to participate in the annual Level Up! Live. :(

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
