Take Flight: The Belle de Jour Fair

October 16, 2011 was one of my most anticipated events this year! In fact, every Belle de Jour event is always something to look forward to. I like the positive aura that the BDJ girls exude. Also, this year's fair was my first time to attend. So, that made me doubly excited. :)

This event was the launch of the 2012 Belle de Jour Power Planner. There were lots of promotions and booths. Activities and games were awesome! The most important portion was the educational and empowering talks by well-known speakers.

The 2012 BDJ Power Planner on display with yummy cupcakes!
The Browhaus booth was the first one that I went to. I won a free GC!

The Athena booth gave out free samples.

I enjoyed the Pachinko game from Ace Water Spa where I won a baller.
My most favorite booth was the Etude House booth. They had a Spin-a-Wheel game where I won a body wash sample. :)) Other than that, they had a free make-over session. I patiently waited in line for it!

The new Etude House Princes, Betsy! :)

With my make-up artist, Marichu. :)
Belle de Jour set up a freedom wall themed as a "Commitment Wall". Lots of girls wrote on it. Me, on the other hand, committed to have more confidence for the coming year!

Yup! :)
Since I joined the Five Reasons Promo, I won my copy of 2012 BDJ Planner for free! :) I claimed it during the fair.

When 4:00 PM came, I went to the center tent for the third segment. I pre-registered online to join this talk. It was entitled "Kilometer Zero", given by Carelle Mangaliag. She was a fun speaker. She kept us positively active all throughout her talk. All of us were laughing our hearts out while at the same time learning a lot about the basics of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Right after Ms. Mangaliag's talk, the chosen BDJ girls/models took the ramp in Promod and Parfois.  And guess who was with them! None other than Ms. Divine Lee!

Ms. Divine Lee gave a short talk about traveling tips. Entitled as "Get Lost in Style", she emphasized in wearing the appropriate, functional, and most of all fashionable clothes in popular places all over the world.

She gave out examples of clothes to wear in different places, shown here is Russia
Ms. Divine Lee was the last speaker of the day. After her talk, Jasmine and Issa raffled off some prizes! Yay! I was the first to be called and I won a GC from Shuji Kida salon! :)

When I got home, I was surprised at the freebies that I have. My PhP50 entrance fee was truly worth it! :)

What's inside the Goody bag?
This day was just amazing! Just like I said earlier, I love Belle de Jour! I would like to congratulate Darlyn and the Belle de Jour team for this successful event!

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
