Gamer Style

I am a gamer. And being a girl, games that bring out my feminine side attract me. However, my perspective of girly video games was limited to Barbie®, Bratz®, and Disney Princesses®.

My two cousins, Khristin and Jodi, introduced me to www.y8.com. It is a site full of Flash video games. And yes! Being girls, my cousins played dress ups, make ups, and cooking. Naturally, they invited me to try out these games, too.

Of all the Flash games, I found dress ups to be the most entertaining. It brought me back to my childhood days when I’d spent my allowance on paper dolls. Dress up games consumed most of my time, playing around two to three hours per day. Up to date, I have done 31 dress up dolls. You are free to look at my album in http://ultigamer.multiply.com/photos/album/10/Dress_Up_Games

I will feature my top three favorites: the awards night dress, school outfit, and casual clothes. These dress ups were taken with a personal touch, as if I were to waer these clothes. Sigh! If only I have some sponsors who’d give these for free!

Awards Night: along the red carpet, you see me walking elegantly in a purple gown, hidden underneath the black trench coat. The flowing green scarf adds some conservativeness to the outfit. But what can I do? It is cold in the conference hall. It would even be a lot colder for me who is going to receive an award later on the evening. On bright side, the sparkling diamond earrings stand out amidst the dark and cold night

School outfit: Black and white fashion clearly describes my campus attire. It exudes an aura of professionalism without looking too old for my age. A long-sleeved white top and a black miniskirt, coupled with stockings give a slightly conservative note that is just right for school. All these things should come with black bags and shoes. And don’t forget the spectacles! It turns an ordinary looking girl into an intelligent one.

Casual Clothes: There is only one reason why I go to a shopping mall: FOOD. Specifically, food in the form of coffee, ice cream, and cakes! While some girls go gaga over clothes, I go crazy over desserts! With that, my casual outfit should be easy to wear. A white pair of sleeveless top and pedal pushers gives a relaxing aura. The air-conditioned mall would keep me cold but the black blazer is here to save me! Finally, accessories should be minimal, as these interfere with the eating.

There were more dress ups that reflect my personality. Being a gamer really helps. Now, I know where to go if I were to experiment on some looks without wasting time, money, and energy. My style is focused on conservative fashion, or in other words, timely clothes without showing too much skin.

So what’s your style?

Presenting The Starbucks 2014 Planner

There are a lot of 2014 planners available out there. For this post, let me share with you the 2014 Starbucks Planner. Every December, people are talking about it! The cover and the layouts are something to look forward to, as well. For this year, it came in four colors: yellow, magenta, brown, and black. The black one is the Philippine edition ( hmmm, tempting! ). I'm very much impressed because the cover feels like leather.  I will feature the magenta one. My friend owns this. I already have a planner for 2014, owning another doesn't make sense at all. Hehehe ~ So, I decided to take some photos of it and share what's inside. (^_^) Left: the box, Right: the planner.  The cover is embossed with coffee icons and Starbucks coffee blend logos. I noticed the symbol for their coffee Sumatra and the elephant icon for Kenya. The 2014 Starbucks Planner in magenta I saw the symbol of the Starbucks coffee blend Sumatra embossed on it. Here is a really cute featur

My Chouhou Gundam

I am so excited to write about the latest addition to my Gundam collection!  This time, I got it from the Gundam Caravan Booth last Best of Anime 2012 ! It was a fun-filled event full of cosplayers and various booths !  This time, we were given the Chouhou Gundam to setup. Uhm, I'm not sure if there is another name for this Gundam. However, the Katakana characters read as "Chouhou", so let me stick with that.  The box of Chouhou Gundam. Hey! This one is new! Other than the manual for setting up, there is also comics inside the box. Wow! It is great as I will get to know more about this Gundam! But time was of the essence, so I decided to move on with building and detailing and set aside reading for later. Comics inside the Chouhou Gundam box. So let us start with the steps in setting up. Here are the photos: We start off with the feet Then the head was next. Putting stickers on is hard, you know. Of course, we need the torso to connect the

Proud to be a Bella

May 21 2011 had been added to my list of memorable days thanks to the girls of Belle de Jour Power Planner. That special day was the BDJ Girls' Rendevous for the month of May. The theme was I Dream, therefore I can.  It was one of the biggest event to date. Almost 100 slots were available to be filled. The invitation to the event was given through various contests. I got my slot in this event through the Belle de Jour Facebook Fan Page. They posted a question at exactly 2:54 PM of May 5, 2011. They posted a question as their status which was: Question, Bellas:   How do you unwind/relax when you're stressed from school or work?   The first 25 BDJ Girls who will comment on THIS THREAD will get a slot at the BDJ Rendezvous: I Dream Therefore I Can! : ) When I saw that post, I immediately wrote "I watch my favorite teleserye." Woah! Believe it or not, I got the lucky 25th slot. Weee! The Rendevous was held in Ace Water Spa in Ortigas. I thought that swimming wi
